I know what it's like to gain 30 pounds... and not recognize my own body anymore.
I lived it.
The weight crept on and wouldn’t budge. My body was inflamed, reactive, and I was constantly itchy and uncomfortable in my own skin.
My pants stopped fitting… and I wore them undone just to get through the day.
I was exhausted in a way that sleep didn’t fix; afternoon crashes that felt like I could hibernate on the spot, anxiety that woke me up in the middle of the night… heart racing, sweating, panicked.

I’m a doctor. I knew what I “should” be doing… and none of it was working.

Dr. Tara Rawana is a licensed naturopathic doctor with a passion for women’s health, hormones, and metabolism.

Alongside Dr. Michelle, she guides patients in Shed program to move beyond quick fixes and embrace a sustainable, science-based approach to shedding the weight that no longer serves them, helping patients feel energized, confident, and at their best.
In addition to her naturopathic training, Dr. Tara is a certified holistic nutritionist and holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, allowing her to support both the physical and emotional aspects of health.
